Firstly
a softwood frame was made and then chicken wire was moulded and stapled to this. The whole armature was then covered with
several layers of strips of newspaper (the underside also). Once dry, a thick layer of paper pulp was added to the entire surface and again left to dry, usually
for a week or more if the ambient temperature is low or the pulp is very thick.
Once
dry, the sculpture is then sealed before being layered with professional quality acrylic paints, two coats of varnish
are then applied to preserve this beautiful work of art.
A Certificate of Authenticity, stating details of the sculpture, signed and dated by the artist, will be
included.
Care Instructions will also be included.
